Owner and Founder

Carol Austin, President and Founder of Privada Travel, has over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, previously leading Sales and Customer Service at Austin Adventures. With firsthand experience in over 60 countries, she has built extensive relationships that help her exceed travelers’ expectations. Her passion for travel and exceptional customer service is evident in her dedication to creating stress-free, unforgettable adventures.

After selling Austin Adventures, Carol realized her true passion lies in helping travelers have the adventure of a lifetime. Starting Privada Travel allows her to use her experience and contacts to fulfill travel dreams while treating every traveler like family.

Curtis Fox

Managing Partner

Curtis Fox is an expert in sales, product, and operations within the luxury adventure travel industry. He has held key roles, including Vice President of International Operations for Austin Adventures and Director of Partner Relations for Travel Edge Network. Curtis has traveled to over 50 countries and worked in international tourism across Australia, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Residing in Vermont, with his wife and young sons, Curtis is passionate about the outdoors. In the summer, he rides local mountain bike trails, and in the winter, he enjoys skiing with his family at Stowe. Curtis is dedicated to creating memorable travel experiences for others, inspired by his own family’s adventures.
