Arrival & Welcome to Moab

Arrive in Moab and check into Springhill Suites Marriott, where the stunning red rock formations create a picturesque backdrop. After freshening up, meet the group in the lobby and head to Dewey’s Restaurant & Bar for a welcome dinner. Savor Southwest-inspired cuisine, featuring dishes like crispy fried green tomatoes and smoked brisket. Enjoy a comfortable stay at Springhill Suites Marriott.


Monday, September 15

Moab’s Icons: Canyonlands & Arches National Parks

Start the day with a guided exploration of Canyonlands National Park, visiting iconic spots like Mesa Arch and the Island in the Sky district. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at Dead Horse Point State Park, overlooking the Colorado River. In the afternoon, tour Arches National Park, marveling at formations like Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch. End the day with dinner at Proper Brewing, enjoying local brews and hearty meals.

Tuesday, September 16

Horseback Riding & Hiking Fisher Towers

Begin with a private horseback ride through Castle Valley, experiencing the Old West atmosphere. Enjoy a gourmet riverside lunch at Sorrel River Ranch, featuring fresh salads and grilled trout. In the afternoon, hike the dramatic Fisher Towers, known for their towering red rock spires. Unwind with dinner at Red Cliffs Lodge and explore the Moab Movie Museum.

Jeep Adventure into the La Sals

Embark on an off-road Jeep adventure through the striking red canyons of Onion Creek and into the cool forests of the La Sal Mountains. Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch by the alpine waters of Oowah Lake. Spend the evening exploring downtown Moab, with free time to visit shops, enjoy artisan gelato, or relax at a local brewery.

Thursday, September 18

Canyoneering & Sunset Hummer Adventure

Start the day with a canyoneering adventure, descending into the Medieval Chamber and rappelling off Morning Glory Arch. Traverse a creek and hike out to the Colorado River. In the afternoon, take a sunset Hummer tour across Moab’s slickrock, enjoying appetizers and drinks as the sun sets. End the day with a private chef-catered dinner under the stars at Lionsback.

Friday, September 19

Rafting the Colorado River & Farewell Dinner

Spend the day rafting the Colorado River, navigating mild rapids and calm stretches while taking in the towering canyon walls. Enjoy a BBQ lunch at a riverside ranch. In the evening, celebrate the journey with a farewell dinner at Sunset Grill, featuring prime rib or fresh salmon and stunning views of Moab’s red cliffs.

Saturday, September 20

Final Breakfast & Checkout

Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel, perhaps taking one last dip in the pool. Check out and continue your journey or take an optional transfer to the Moab airport.

When should I expect to arrive and depart?

The first day of the tour Sep. 14 and begins with check-in at the Springhill Marriott at 4pm. 

On the final day or touring, Sep. 20, check out is 11am.

Payment

To secure a booking with Privada Travel, a non-refundable $550 deposit per person is due at the time of confirmation.  

The balance of all monies due must be paid to Privada Travel no later than 90 days before departure.

In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date Privada will treat the booking as canceled by the Client.

In the case of bookings made within 90 days of the departure date. Full payment of the balance is due immediately.

Payment can either be made by credit card, check, or wire transfer. All wiring and transfer costs or credit card overcharges should be assumed by the Client.

Cancellation by the Client

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to Privada Travel in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by Privada Travel.

We reserve the right to cancel departures in cases of force majeure or the failure of third parties—such as hotels —to honor their reservations. In these cases, you'll be refunded your trip price. Privada Travel is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs that are incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations or illness.
